Before treating the surfaces, ensure that all areas are cleaned, removing dirt, grease, mould, fungal or any loose surface coatings.
Completely remove any decorative paints and mould release agents. At least one month before the Multicrete Silicone Waterseal is applied, ensure that any re-pointing, rendering and defect such as mortar joints should be finished. The effectiveness of the treatment will be compromised if the surface has defective joints or cracks.
If the surfaces are contaminated with large quantities of white salt, further advice on how to treat the area should be sought.
Cover glass, metal, wood, window or door frames prior to application of Multicrete Silicone Waterseal in order to avoid residue splashes. Protect plants with plastic sheeting.
Multicrete Silicone Waterseal can be applied to damp surfaces.
Use a brush or low pressure sprayer (avoiding using fine mist) starting from the top, working down to the bottom.
Avoid application if rainfall is expected.
Approximately 5 litres will treat 50m². However the coverage will be dependent on the porosity of the surfaces to be treated.
Clean equipment with water.
Remove any splashes as soon as possible as left for a few days, they will be extremely difficult to remove.
Do not store in temperatures below 5°c. A temperature between 5°c and 25°c is recommended. The product should be kept no longer than 12 months.
