Multicrete Surface colour hardeners are blended from specially selected hard-wearing aggregates, UV resistant pigments, dispersants and portland cements. The product significantly enhances the durability of concrete wearing surfaces. Gives a uniform and attractive colour to concrete surfaces.
Multicrete Products Colour Hardener is a ready to use dry shake material for colouring, hardening and finishing new concrete surfaces. Trowelled into newly laid concrete to produce a smooth finish to the surface or given a textured finish with imprinting stamps.
Subgrade:-The subgrade must be uniformly graded, compacted and moistened, but free of standing water.
Concrete:- The concrete should be designed to meet the strength and finishing requirements of the project. All fine and coarse aggregates must be non-reactive and free of deleterious material. Water in the concrete should be kept to the minimum compatible with concrete placement finishing. The maximum recommended slump is 100mm (4'') Multicrete Products Colour Hardener is compatible with water reducing, set retarding and air-entraining concrete admixtures. Avoid using admixtures containing calcium chloride.
Coverage-1 x 25kg bag per approximately 10m2.
Application:-Apply Multicrete Products Colour Hardener after the concrete has been placed, roller-stamped, bull floated and excess bleed water has disappeared from the concrete surface.
Multicrete Products Colour Hardener should be applied at a rate of 2.5kg's per square metre in two applications.
After the first application, float in the colour.
A second application of colour should be applied to weak tone areas until slab gives a complete and uniform appearance. Bull float the concrete surface after the first application, but do not trowel. After the second application of Multicrete Colour Hardener the area can be trowelled using a large ''Fresno'' steel trowel. Avoid excess trowelling for the most uniform colour results. In high temperatures, direct sunlight and wind, the surface can ''crust'' and will not imprint with good detail.

Delivery
All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods. When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order. All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Small parcels may be delivered via Royal Mail. Delivery is next working day subject to availability. However, delivery may take up to five working days.
Returns
If you need to return a product purchased from Multicrete then you have 28 days to do so. The returned goods must be in a resalable state and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us.
- The goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories.
- Any products which have been manufactured to order will incur a 15% restocking fee.
- If the return is due to missing or faulty parts, then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 14 days.
- Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.
- Make sure you obtain a proof of postage. Returns sent by post are at your own cost.
All pallet orders paid and taken before 12.30pm will be dispatched on the same day on a next day service, this excludes weekends. We request that the courier contacts you approximately one hour before the pallet delivery. All pallet deliveries to residential address are kerb side drops.
